Gallery, on “Gallery Row,” 3001 E. Skyline Drive, Suite 109 . Open every Thursday evening for “Art Walk,” 5-7P – really nice contemporary paintings, sculpture, and jewelry. She will discuss the financial a$pect$ of gallery ownership, financial relationships with artists, and all your questions.

Members Self Portraits Program.
This will be fun. Members may bring as many of these as they have. Mo Greene will discuss self-portraits, and then we will each show examples of how we see ourselves. Those signed up so far include Earl Wettstein, JoSawyerRoof(Sky), Diane Loving, Marty Plevel, Samantha Betrus, Judie McEwen, Maren Webb, Ruth Canada, MaryJaneLyon, Linda Ahearn, Dorothy Nelson, Terry Mills, Mary Hansen.

FIRST ANNUAL “MY ART PROCESS” PROGRAM

Seven SAAG members will each talk for up to 10 minutes about :

“How I Create My Art- The Process.” They will show us the artwork that they do, and steps they took in developing it. They are:

1.John Gerdes – the process I use to paint my acrylics and watercolors

2.Diane Bailey-Haug – the encaustic-collage process that I use

3.Dale Strong – why I use spoons to paint with, and how my Spoon Paintings develop

4.Terry Mills – Blue Ribbon Award winner tells us her process secrets.

5. George Shively – I do my layered drawings using a subtractive process

6. Ray Brown – the processes I use to paint oils and acrylics of animals & landscapes

7. Ray Hecker – how I do my watercolor art

The Fountains Exhibit and Sale

Little Treasures at the Fountains at La Cholla

A Small Paintings Show is scheduled for the Fountains at La Cholla, 2001 W. Rudasill Rd. in Tucson . Paintings will be on display in the public areas at the Fountains from August 15 through September 24th . Artists' reception will be hosted by the Fountains on Wednesday, August 18th from 3pm to 5pm.

SAAG members entering the show should plan to deliver their painting(s) on Saturday August 14 th 9am – 10:30am . And pick up Saturday September 25 th 9am -11am . Details and contact information is on the entry form.
