Contrats to Theresa!
SAAG Artist of the Year

Theresa Talley

Theresa Talley is a self-taught wildlife artist. Her passion for animals is evident in her drawings and paintings. “The most important part of a wildlife piece are the eyes of the animal. ‘The eyes are the windows to the soul’ as they say. If you don’t get them right, the animal will be a lifeless form on the page.”

Theresa has taken art classes at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, AZ and has earned the ASDM Certificate of Completion in Nature Illustration. She also volunteered at the museum as an illustrator for a short time and has the honor of having one of her drawings used in a permanent sign at the javelina exhibit.
